We currently have 93 indoor bed spaces (with room for additional camp beds on the floor for ‘indoor camping’- glamping) and with such a large site there are extensive outdoor camping opportunities. Additional indoor accommodation has recently been constructed in the form of Timber Lodges around the camping field. These have increased our ‘family’ capabilities as well as increasing our overall indoor accommodation from 41 to around 100.
There are two large grassy fields suitable for events in addition to the main camping field and the sports field. A Peace Garden is maintained where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the camp and have a quiet time or can be used for small group contemplation and prayer.
We have a catering kitchen and servery adjoining the main dining room, a conference centre, a sports hall/barn, a chill out lounge / games room, a boating lake, a fire pit, coppice woods, an eco-pond for pond dipping, an orienteering course around the site, 2 full-size football pitches, a 5-a-side pitch, an adventure playground, a go-kart track for pedal go-karts, a 55m zip line, raft building equipment, and Frisbee golf. With all the space available you are only limited by your own imagination. There is also a grass volleyball and a grass badminton court. There is a variety of sports equipment available for free use by all visitors.
Any user booking the site will have sole use of the primary facilities for an all-inclusive price as detailed on our website (subject to minimum booking fees). The separate event space field may occasionally be independently hired. Users of this area will not be permitted to enter the main TRAC site.
We provide a facility that has all you will need to have an adventurous (or restful should you prefer) break. This is a self-run / self-catering facility where we provide the site, and you will be responsible for staffing and managing your group and providing your own catering using the purpose-built facilities here. We can arrange for catering at an additional cost if required or advise of suitable local caterers.
